Umrah & Hajj Marketplace

Customers compare and book Umrah and Hajj packages, hotels, and transport in one place. Providers manage listings and bookings, and admins approve listings and manage commissions, payouts, and content.

I built the product alone: backend, frontend, and tests.

A NestJS API on PostgreSQL and Redis, and a Next.js 15 App Router frontend with four role-based areas. Each feature module has three controllers, one each for the public, providers, and admins, which keeps access rules simple to read and test.

Stripe Checkout takes payment, and a webhook confirms each booking. A pricing service adds the platform commission, the service fee, and any per-provider commission, and converts between USD and SAR. A package booking moves through six stages, from payment to visa processing to departure.
